At the Forefront of Pediatrics
Under the visionary leadership of Professor Daniella Magen, The Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital, a modern, 130 bed, nine-floor facility, is at the forefront of pediatric care in Northern Israel. As the only hospital in the region dedicated exclusively to pediatric medicine, it provides advanced medical services and a comprehensive approach to treatment in every area of children's healthcare.
The Children’s hospital treats children from birth to 18 years old. Decades of accumulated experience, cutting-edge medical equipment, and a multidisciplinary, personalized, and holistic approach are integral to the exceptional care we provide. Maintaining the highest medical standards, the hospital addresses the full spectrum of children’s physical and psychological needs, from initial diagnosis to treatment and the most sophisticated interventions. Emphasizing the child’s perspective, the hospital offers medical care in a pleasant, warm, and supportive environment.
A dedicated staff of 400, six inpatient departments, 20 specialized pediatric units, and an emergency room provide care according to the highest international standards.
Together with the Parents
Parental involvement is a cornerstone of the treatment approach. At every stage of an illness, parents are partners in the healing process. Their involvement is crucial in helping children cope with their anxieties and the unfamiliar hospital environment.
The Pinnacle of Research
The Children’s Hospital is affiliated with the Technion’s Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, with hospital physician-scientists serving as senior lecturers to medical students. Professional collaborations with other pediatric medical centers worldwide ensure that the hospital remains at the cutting edge of pediatric medicine.
