Division of Internal Medicine
The Division of Internal Medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus is responsible for treatment of a wide range of internal disorders. The division includes six inpatient departments (Internal Medicine Departments A, B, C, D, E, and H) and a number of related departments: Nephrology, Cardiology and Hematology, as well as the Departments of Dermatology, Neurology and Oncology. In addition, the Division encompasses a set of Units and Institutes, including Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pulmonology, Infectious Diseases, Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Immunology.
The Division of Internal Medicine is the busiest in the hospital, providing inpatient medical care and ambulatory

care through its outpatient clinics and units to thousands of patients each year.
The division was founded to integrate, streamline, and synchronize the different aspects related to treating internal medicine patients. An intensive care unit dedicated to the division, including respiratory treatment, is planned for the future.
In addition to their regular patient treatment duties, the division physicians teach medical students from the Technion and overseas, and conduct clinical and laboratory research. Their highly regarded work is frequently presented at professional conferences in Israel and overseas.
