Located on the ground floor are The Cheryl Spencer Pediatric Emergency Department, accredited by the Ministry of Health as one of Israel’s top emergency medicine departments, Gredinger Hall, The Forman Family Science Museum, and the Pediatric Medical Imaging Unit.First FloorThe highly specialized staff in the Department of Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cares for over 5,000 newborn infants annually, providing a wide range of treatments using the most advanced technologies and techniques.Second FloorA multidisciplinary team using delivers comprehensive care to children with a wide range of kidney and urinary tract disorders in the Pediatric Nephrology Institute.The Wagner-Green Pediatric Intensive Care Unit provides round-the-clock treatment for pre-term, full-term, and immunocompromised infants with life-threatening medical conditions. It is distinguished by its integration of advanced diagnostics and treatment while focusing on individual patient needs.Third FloorAll pediatric departments refer children to the Outpatient Clinic, which provides among others, gastroenterological, pulmonary, and endocrinology care for children following their hospital discharge.The D. Dan & Betty Kahn Foundation Pediatric Pulmonary Institute provides specialized care for children with chronic lung conditions. Handling over 4,000 ambulatory visits annually they offer a wide array of procedures, including non-invasive assessments for preschool children, lung clearance index, exercise and sweat tests, and bronchoscopies. The Institute also serves as one of the five Israeli Cystic Fibrosis centers. Toddlers, children, and teens, together with their parents receive emotional support in the Pediatric Psychiatry Unit.The Meri and Sol J. Barer Play Atrium is equipped with equipment and interactive toys that allow young children to enjoy their time while at the Children’s Hospital. Fourth FloorThe Department of Pediatrics A treats children with internal and chronic disorders within general pediatric medicine. Key areas of care include juvenile diabetes, sleep disorders, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal, and neurological disorders.Fifth FloorThe Meri & Sol J. Barer Pediatrics B Department addresses the entire spectrum of pediatric conditions in internal medicine, including joint and gastrointestinal diseases, metabolic disorders, and adolescent medicine. The Department conducts liver biopsies, joint aspirations, metabolic disease testing,¬¬ and other screenings. As outpatients, children receive treatments such as biological drugs for Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis, and enzyme therapy for Pompe disease. Sixth Floor•The Department of Pediatric Surgery performs a wide range of minimally invasive and other surgical interventions, including abdominal and chest surgeries for congenital anomalies, traumatic injuries, tumors, hernias, and more. •The Herta and Paul Amir Pediatric Cardiology Institute implements the latest technologies for three-dimensional cardiac imaging to detect disorders, perform interventional procedures, and improve outcomes. Seventh FloorThe Joan & Sanford Weill Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation cares for children with cancer and blood diseases, and achieves a cure rate of approximately 80%—comparable to figures in Western Europe and the United States. Bone marrow transplants are performed in the Reiner-Shudi Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. Eighth FloorAccompanying patients on their journey towards better health, highly qualified medical teams, psychologists, physio and occupational therapists, help children adjust to their reality and improve their overall function.•The Barer-Zairi Pediatric Neurology Unit diagnoses and treats children with complicated neurological disorders. Diagnosis and treatment is provided during admission to the pediatric wards and on an outpatient basis.
