Operation Lions Roar: Latest Update

Amid Operation Lions Roar, Rambam Health Care Campus (Rambam) welcomes its first baby in the Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital.

Rambam’s Division of Gynecology and Obstetrics has completed its relocation to the Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital on the Minus 3 level. The first cesarean section has already been performed in a protected operating room, with a healthy firstborn boy delivered during the sirens.

The transfer of hospital departments to the fortified Minus 3 level is ongoing and is being carried out by hospital teams in coordination with the Home Front Command.

Sapir (27) and Moshe (30) Asulin from Kiryat Bialik welcomed their first son at Rambam, and shortly thereafter the new family were relocated to the fortified underground emergency hospital.

“We feel safe and hope for better days for everyone and for the IDF soldiers," says Sapir. "Am Yisrael Chai!”
