The Division of Surgery
The Division of Surgery delivers high-quality, specialized surgical care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being. They perform essential procedures in various fields, including cardiac, ENT, general, head and neck, hand, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oral and maxillofacial, orthopedic, plastic, thoracic, urology, and vascular surgery.

The Division of Internal Medicine
The Division of Internal Medicine treats a wide range of internal, chronic, and acute illnesses. It includes six inpatient departments (Internal Medicine Departments A, B, C, D, E, and H) and several related departments.

At the Eyal Ofer Heart Hospital patients receive the highest levels of care encompassing prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of related diseases and disorders.

Rambam takes an aggressive stand against cancer, and our patients receive compassionate care and treatment for every type of cancer in the Joseph Fishman Oncology Center Traditional, complementary, and alternative treatments, along with a dedicated oncology and hematology ER, are available.

The Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Institute employs cutting-edge treatments, the latest technologies, and clinical practices for malignant and non-malignant hematological disorders.
The Department of Nephrology and Hypertension

Patients are seen for diverse kidney-related diseases in all stages: chronic, acute, or end-stage. Hospitalized and ambulatory patients receive integrated care and a broad range of medical services, including consultations, comprehensive evaluation, and treatments.

The Outpatient Clinics includes a general nephrology clinic; a pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease clinic, a hypertension clinic incorporates an ambulatory 24-hour blood pressure monitoring service and a kidney transplant follow-up clinic. The scope of care encompasses all hypertension and kidney-related problems, delivered by an outstanding and caring team of professional specialists.
The Department of Dermatology
The Department of Dermatology offers the most advanced treatments and services for the entire range of skin diseases and skin disorders in both adults and children. A dermatopathology service, a contact dermatitis clinic, a cutaneous lymphomas clinic, a clinic for the treatment of hemangiomas and cutaneous malformations, a psoriasis day care center, and a phototherapy unit are integral to the service.
The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology
The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology offers comprehensive gynecological, obstetric, and prenatal services, including high-risk pregnancy management, prenatal diagnoses, ultrasounds, fertility treatments, and onco-gynecology therapies. For the most positive experience, labor and delivery rooms are designed for comfort and equipped with advanced technology for natural childbirth.
Pediatrics
The Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital, the only one of its kind in Northern Israel, provides advanced medical services and a comprehensive approach to treatment in every area of children’s healthcare. The full set of children’s physical and psychological needs are addressed, from initial diagnostic services and basic medical treatments to the most sophisticated and complex interventions.
The Division of Medical Imaging
The Department of Medical Imaging collaborates closely with all clinical and scientific departments throughout Rambam Health Care Campus.

Utilizing cutting-edge medical imaging equipment, advanced informatics systems, services include the following: CT, ultrasound, mammography, MRI and neuroradiology, invasive radiology, and nuclear medicine.

The Nuclear Medicine Institute provides the full range of nuclear medical imaging services for diagnostic purposes, and to monitor the response to various treatment strategies. The institute also provides treatment using radioactive materials for various medical conditions.

Rambam’s School of Radiology & Imaging, trains students in medical diagnostic and treatment services using sophisticated radiology equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
The Division of Psychiatry and Mental Health
The Psychiatry and Mental Health Division includes an inpatient ward, day treatment unit, outpatient services, child and adolescent psychiatry, and consultation-liaison services. It offers diagnostics and treatments for all psychiatric disorders. Specialized outpatient clinics address eating disorders, anxiety, PTSD, psychogeriatrics, resistant psychosis, and bipolar disorders. The division also runs the Veterans' Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, sponsored by the Ministry of Defense, serving disabled military veterans.
Laboratories

The Toxicology and Pharmacology Laboratories serve Rambam Health Care Campus as well as other hospitals, clinics, and industries. The pharmacogenetic laboratory facilitates pharmacokinetic-pharmacogenetic research to improve personalized medicine.

Rambam’s Poison Information Center is the only service of its kind in the country that provides expert advice to the healthcare system and the public. A 24/7 telephone hotline is available for poison related inquiries, drug information and their effects, chemicals, and others.
Division of Dentistry

The Departments of Orthodontic & Craniofacial Anomalies, Maxillofacial Rehabilitation & Temporo-mandibular Disorders, Endodontic and Dental Trauma, and Periodontology & Implant Dentistry offer specialized services for patients of all ages.

The Prof. Eugene Schimmel Pediatric Division provides comprehensive dental care for children, including treatment under deep sedation.

The School of Graduate Dentistry, the only one of its kind in Northern Israel, focuses on post-graduate training in dental specialties.
Other Areas
Breast Health
The Rambam Breast Health Institute is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of women with breast diseases, and provides consulting and support services to patients and their families.
Division of Ambulatory Medicine
The Division of Ambulatory Medicine includes all medical services provided by the clinics and hospital facilities that do not require hospitalization including: diagnosis, treatment, and counseling services in fields, such as internal medicine, surgery and orthopedics, women's medicine, and advanced oral and dental medicine.
Genetics Institute
The Genetic Institute provides comprehensive genetic services for Rambam Health Care Campus, and serves as a referral center for community clinics and other hospitals. The institute provides counseling and diagnostic services for both patients with suspected genetic disorders and their relatives.
Occupational Therapy
Rambam offers occupational therapy in physical rehabilitation, pediatrics, and mental health. Services are available to inpatients and those referred through ambulatory care, utilizing advanced technologies for evaluation and treatment. The department also focuses on teaching OT students and participates in relevant research.
Department of Physical Therapy
The Department of Physical Therapy (PT) provides services to inpatients including respiratory, orthopedic, neurologic, functional, and developmental PT. Services are also provided to ambulatory patients with joint, balance, back, and/or neck problems. A therapeutic hydrotherapy pool is available, and PT is provided for patients with cystic fibrosis in the outpatient clinic.
Department of Emergency Medicine
The 36-bed, Green Wagner Department of Emergency Medicine, with a six-bay shock trauma room, receives and treats approximately 120,000 patients annually from Northern Israel of which some 4,000 are hospitalized. It is a referral center for 12 district hospitals, including the IDF’s Northern Command.
Rambam’s internationally renowned Teaching Center for Trauma, Emergency and MCS offers an educational program aimed at professionals involved in the organization and treatment of mass casualty incidents: pre-hospital forces, hospital staff, physicians, nurses, and administrators. Training programs are tailored to the needs of each organization.
​The Department of Clinical Nutrition
The Department of Clinical Nutrition offers medical nutrition therapy for various inpatient and outpatient conditions. The goal is to provide tailored nutritional programs to support recovery and maintain optimal health.
Occupational Health
The Occupational Health Institute conducts employee medical tests following Ministry of Labor and Welfare standards. It supports health management to enhance employee well-being, improve workplace safety, and reduce accidents and occupational illnesses.
Periodic Examinations
The Periodic Examinations Institute, central to the Center for Preventive Medicine, conducts comprehensive testing for healthy individuals to identify and advise on modifiable risk factors for diseases like heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
The Department of Social Work
The Department of Social Work offers professional support to patients and families during and after hospitalization, focusing on developing discharge plans that meet patient needs and maintain their well-being and quality of life.
